DAPATKAN BIG PATTY BURGER DENGAN SOS LADA HITAM DAN CHEESE DENGAN HARGA MURAH

Batu Maung is a small town in Penang, Malaysia. It is located in the southeastern part of Penang Island. It consists of several smaller villages namely Kampung Seronok (at the border with Bayan Lepas), Kampung Binjai, Permatang Damar Laut, Kampung Batu Maung, Kampung Teluk Tempoyak and Kampung Jalan Baru.

Around 20 years ago, Batu Maung was only a small fishing village accessible only from Bayan Lepas. However, in the past few years, Batu Maung has experienced a rapid development due to its proximity to Bayan Lepas Free Trade Zone (FTZ). In 1994, a new 4-lane highway was opened that linked Batu Maung to Gelugor (known as coastal highway). This shortened the journey from Batu Maung to Penang Bridge to around 15 minutes from almost an hour previously.

There are 3 primary schools and 1 secondary school in this area. The oldest school, Sekolah Kebangsaan Batu Maung was opened in 1884. The school has been renovated several times, however due to the limited land space available, the school lacks most of the common facilities such as proper playing field and hall.

DO NOT MISS OPPORTUNITY TO ENJOY THE SEASON "MENCANDAT" SQUID AT KAPAS ISLAND TERENGGANU

LIST OF RESTAURANT UDANG GALAH BEST AND AFFORDABLE IN MALAYSIA

Macrobrachium rosenbergii, also known as the giant river prawn or giant freshwater prawn, is a commercially important species of palaemonid freshwater prawn. It is found throughout the tropical and subtropical areas of the Indo-Pacific region, from India to Southeast Asia and Northern Australia. The giant river prawn has also been introduced to parts of Africa, China, Japan, New Zealand, the Americas and the Caribbean.

It is one of the biggest freshwater prawns in the world and is widely cultivated in several countries for food. While M. rosenbergii is considered a freshwater species, the larval stage of the animal depends on brackish water. Once the individual shrimp has grown beyond the planktonic stage and becomes a juvenile, it will live entirely in freshwater.

It is also known as the Malaysian prawn, freshwater scampi (India), or cherabin (Australia). Locally, it is known as bara chingri in Bangladesh, udang galah in Indonesia and Malaysia, uwang or ulang in the Philippines, and koong yai in Thailand

M. rosenbergii can grow to a length over 30cm (12 in). They are predominantly brownish in color but can vary. Smaller individuals may be greenish in color and display faint vertical stripes. The rostrum is very prominent and contains 11 to 14 dorsal teeth and 8 to 11 ventral teeth. The first pair of walking legs (pereiopods) are elongated and very thin, ending in delicate claws (chelipeds) which are used as feeding appendages.

The second pair of walking legs are much larger and powerful, especially in males. The movable claws of the second pair of walking legs are distinctively covered in dense bristles (setae) that give it a velvety appearance. The color of the claws in males vary according to their social dominance.

Females can be distinguished from males by their wider abdomens and smaller second pereiopods. The genital openings are found on the body segments containing the fifth pereiopods and the third pereiopods in males and females, respectively.

Kelantan is located in the north-eastern corner of the peninsula. Kelantan, which is said to translate as the "Land of Lightning", is an agrarian state with lush paddy fields, rustic fishing villages and casuarina-lined beaches. Kelantan is home to some of the most ancient archaeological discoveries in Malaysia, including several prehistoric aboriginal settlements.

Due to Kelantan's relative isolation and largely rural lifestyle, Kelantanese culture differs somewhat from Malay culture in the rest of the peninsula; this is reflected in the cuisine, arts, and the peculiar Kelantanese Malay language, which is unintelligible even for some speakers of standard Malay.
